by Maxwell Maltz, MD, FICS

This book was written by a plastic surgeon who became interested in self-concept because he discovered that many of the patients he was treating still had a negative self-image even after physical deformities had been remodeled. He talks about the foundations of our self-image and how it can be adjusted, and recommends some methods of meditation and visualization for self-actualization. one of the basic ideas of this process is to visualize the end goal that you have in mind and then let your subconscious work out the details without too much deliberate effort. I’ve gained some really inspiring insights using some of the methods recommended by Dr. Maltz. ⭐⭐⭐
